This bundle purchase is for 16+ various webquest / Internet assignments. These assignments are perfect for in-school computer lab work or to be assigned as homework. The included work has been designed for Grades 7th – 10th but some minor changes should make it perfect for older or younger students as needed (all assignments are easy to edit for both ability level and to use with online distance learning).

This information is perfect for future classroom discussions or when asking students to design a timeline of important events. The back side has 11 specific questions on historical space moments for students to answer including; On what date did humans first walk on the moon?, What were the names of vehicles in NASA's space shuttle program, What is Voyager 2, What is New Horizons?...and more. This webquest is great for middle school or high school and can be used in math, science, or language arts classes. Students are given a list of 55 measuring devices. They must research 15 of the machines of their choosing and identify: -What does the machine measure? -Who invented the measuring machine? -When was the measuring machine invented? This webquest is perfect for research before a project and provides great connections between math and science and real world uses of this technology.

This assignment is three separate parts that focus on sharks. These papers are great for any science or language arts class since they focus on research and vocabulary. 1 - Shark Research - a research paper for students to choose a shark of their choice and find key facts (scientific name, physical characteristics, predators, prey, habitat, etc...) There is also a place for students to sketch a picture of both the shark and its' tooth. 2 - Shark Webquest - this webquest focuses on the scientific names of various shark species. 13 common shark names are provided and students need to find the shark's scientific name. The 13 scientific names are provided and student's must find the shark's common name. 3 - Shark Vocabulary Puzzle - a vocabulary criss-cross with the 26 species of shark (so only use this after the webquest), students must complete the puzzle and then write some sentences using key vocabulary. This is a great webquest to explain to students the various fields/areas/departments that make up SCIENCE. It can be used in all science classes or in language arts as a vocabulary enforcement. 10) HUMAN BODY SYSTEM WEBQUEST & CRISS-CROSS PUZZLE
The following assignment can be used in the school's computer lab, as homework, or as extra credit. The focus of the assignment is Human Body Systems. Students research body systems connecting various organs and body systems. A vocabulary criss-cross puzzle is also included.
11) ROBOTICS: GENERAL WEBQUEST
The focus on the webquest is general information about robotics. Students will read and learn about: general types of robots, where robots are most used in our society, how robots are improving healthcare and more! There is also a short 3-minute video introducing students to the robot "Sophia". This should be a fun and fast webquest (30 minutes, the reading is very quick and simple but provides students with a great introduction to the topic of robotics) and will give students plenty of information to think about.
12) WEATHER WEBQUEST: METEOROLOGIST & CLOUDS & THUNDERSTORMS
The webquest is divided into three clear sections. Seven questions focus on meteorologists and their technology. Seven questions focus on types of clouds. Six questions focus on thunderstorms (severe, monitoring, safety tips).
13) TORNADO & HURRICANE WEBQUEST & PUZZLE SHEET
Webquest Front - 10 questions that focus on Tornadoes (wind speeds, Fujita Scale, safety tips, Tornado Alley, etc...)
Webquest Back - 12 questions that focus on Hurricanes (compare/contrast, Saffir-Simpson Scale, water temperature, hurricane season, etc...)
BONUS - A follow-up vocabulary puzzle and writing worksheet focusing on key vocabulary connected to tornadoes and hurricanes.
14) SCIENCE CAREER WEBQUEST #1: ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
This career webquest helps students learn about the basics of this career choice, how it connects to science, high school and college course requirements for the career, job training, expectations for those who enter this career above and beyond the day-to-day training and education. This is a great webquest for either any earth science, weather, or Earth Day unit.
15) SCIENCE CAREER WEBQUEST #2: CLIMATE CHANGE ANALYST
This career webquest helps students learn about the basics of this career choice, how it connects to science, high school and college course requirements for the career, job training, expectations for those who enter this career above and beyond the day-to-day training and education. This is a great webquest for either any earth science, weather, or Earth Day unit.
16) NATURAL DISASTERS: DEFINITIONS & SLIDESHOW
DEFINITION WORK: Students are given 32 terms connected to the topic of NATURAL DISASTERS. They choose 20 of the terms and use a resource (Internet, textbook, dictionary, etc...) to identify and write the best definition for the term. SLIDESHOW PROJECT: Students choose 10 of the terms that they chose for their definition work. They design a slideshow (Google Slides, Prezi, Power Point, etc...) following the rubric example and steps provided on their assignment.
